ReplyDeleteThe first time I heard the term podcast, was on Larry King advising his viewers about selected programmes available for their viewing pleasure on podcast. Well of course, I went on the Internet to find out what that was about . I was impressed, never imagining that I would be learning how to incorporate the technology into the teaching of reading.
As a visual medium, it has invaluable applications in education since users can replay videos again and again until the concept is understood. Additionally it could be used creatively by students in the production of their own content.
